Back to “Shred” School

Fall means lots of opportunities for new growth and learning, and Augusta Data Storage definitely didn’t miss out on the chance to get back to school in 2016. Two of our team members headed to Orlando, FL and enrolled in NAID Shred School. Shred School is the member education arm of the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID). It is designed to provide affordable training to all secure destruction industry professionals and NAID active members in an effort to improve their businesses. Each Shred School workshop is two days and introduces attendees to the secure destruction industry, data protection legislation, sales tips, marketing best practices, NAID programs and more. Certified Secured Destruction Specialists (CSDS) can earn up to 12 continuing education units if they attend both days.

Butch Holley and Jason Grove hit the books to get up to date on all things shred. From learning how to better serve our customers and discussing “outside of the box” collection solutions, to reviewing Data Protection and Regulations, they covered an array of topics to ensure we’re able to continue providing our customers with unique and customized solutions they have come to expect from Augusta Data Storage. We are excited to have Butch and Jason back in the swing of things and sharing their knowledge with our team and their clients!
