Scan on Demand Provides Contact-Free Access to Your Records

As the impact of COVID-19 continues to shift, Augusta Data Storage is still committed to providing our clients with exceptional customer service and around-the-clock access to their information.

We recognize that for those working to limit outside foot traffic an visitors in their office spaces, OR those who now find themselves working remotely as they adhere to social distancing guidelines, having hard-copy files delivered in person is not ideal.

In an effort to protect our staff and couriers as well as our clients, we are urging customers to take advantage of our scan-on-demand file access. This option allows digital access to the records stored in our facility without the need for us to bring physical files to your office.

This setup will become increasingly more important as businesses continue to shift to work-from-home setups over the course of the next few weeks. We are here to ensure that while your businesses works to maintain as many normal operating procedures as possible that you are able to access the information you need to make it happen.

How does it work?

Requesting files for scan on demand is simple. You can call us directly OR login to our client portal and request your file(s) for scan on demand delivery.

How do you ensure security of records delivered through scan on demand?

First and foremost, security of your information remains our top priority. Those requesting scan-on-demand file access MUST be listed on your company’s access e-forms and MUST use a company email (from your domain).

Scan-on-demand delivery will not be provided to those using non-company-specific email addresses.

Additionally, records will be delivered via encrypted email using SEND, Inc.

How does encrypted email delivery work?

If you need to request files for scan-on-demand delivery, we can help you set up an account on SEND, Inc. This platform offers two-factor authentication for access to the information we are sending over and boasts “military-grade encryption” that ensures only the recipient can receive the message.

Once your account is setup and you have requested your files for delivery, we will scan them into the encrypted email platform and deliver them to you. The two-factor authentication will be required to access the files attached to the email.

Changes to your business schedule?

If your business has regularly scheduled pick-up, delivery, or file/tape rotations and you have made adjustments to your facility access or work schedule OR if you have moved to a remote working situation and no one is present at your facility, please let us know so that we can adjust our schedules correctly.
