The Numbers are In: Community Shred Day

If you’ve been keeping up with us on facebook lately, you probably made note of the fact that we were gearing up for our big shred event at Television Park with WAGT, Augusta Metro Federal Credit Union, RCT Federal Credit Union, HCCU and Richmond Community Federal Credit Union! The event happened this past Saturday and we had a great turn out. With the increase in identity theft these days, we are always excited to provide an opportunity for local residents to take advantage of a safe and secure way to dispose of their outdated personal documents. We would like to send a huge thank you out to all the organizations and individuals who worked so hard to make this event a success, with your help we were able to provide an excellent service to members of our community and create a secure and eco-friendly way to dispose of paper waste. All of the paper that was collected and shredded on the day of the event will be recycled, eliminating the environmental burden of adding to our already overflowing landfills.
