The Results Are In: Community Shred Day

On Saturday October 17th we hosted a community shred day in partnership with WAGT- NBC Augusta at Television Park. On-site, along with our staff, we had 2 shred trucks and a collection area for electronic waste. The event saw over 250 local visitors in just 3 hours who brought in tons of paper waste to be shredded and some even decided to take advantage of our first time offering of e-waste recycling. Paper and electronic waste are some of the biggest contributors to our growing landfill crisis AND some of the biggest contributors to identity theft. By securely recycling and disposing of these items, you can ensure that they do not end up in the wrong hands OR that they do not end up causing excess pollution. We had a great turn out to the event and are excited to share the results of just a few short hours of effort with you.
