Augusta Data Storage Co-Hosts Community Shred Day

We recently partnered with AARP- Georgia Fraud Watch and Augusta Recreation and Parks to host a community shred day at two locations in the CSRA. The event allowed area residents to bring in personal documents for secure shredding, free of charge! Thank you to everyone who helped organize this event, as well as those who attended, it was a great day and you can check out the results in the video below!

During the community shred event we shredded over 4,000 lbs of paper. These shredded papers help to protect more than just your personal information, they help protect the environment. All of our shredded paper pulp is recycled to help ease the impact of paper waste on our landfills and environment. By recycling just 4,000 lbs of paper we were able to save 39 trees, 16,170 gallons of water, and 9,471 Kw of energy.
