Our 2015 Environmental Report

2015 was a busy year at Augusta Data Storage. We continued to grow our shred business, and even added a new e-solutions segment to help our customers find safe and environmentally friendly solutions for their end-of-life electronics. It’s always nice to be able to step back at the end of the year and take a look at the big picture, which is why we put together our ETG by the Numbers report, featured last week. In addition to some of the numbers we pulled together for that, we had a chance to review our “environmental report” from our shred operation, which details our environmental savings based on the amount of paper we shredded and recycled this year. These statistics represent the savings from recycling paper products, versus the use of raw materials for the production of new “virgin” paper products. In 2015 alone, we shredded over 1.4 Million pounds of paper which amassed a sizeable “environmental savings” in a variety of categories.
